La Ponderosa «Del Otro lado»

La Ponderosa hace la presentación oficial del disco titulado “Del otro lado”, en la Trastienda (Balcarce 460) este sábado 16 de junio, desde las 21. 

La Ponderosa  tiene listo su segundo discco “Del otro lado”. El 2011 fue un año de gira y presentaciones por distintas ciudades del país difundiendo su disco debut Sigo, sigo, sigo. Suficientes razones tuvo La Ponderosa para encarar su segundo material titulado “Del otro lado”, compuesto por trece canciones producidas, mezcladas y masterizadas por el ingeniero de sonido Álvaro Villagra y Nelson Pombal, en el Estudio del Abasto y Nosfer Studios entre Diciembre de 2011 y enero de 2012.

 

Del otro lado mantiene el mismo espíritu rock característico de la banda oriunda de Quilmes, que  junto a canciones y baladas que se entremezclan bailando rythm and blues le dan vida a personajes que traman historias logradas entre distintas atmósferas. Campo, ciudad, soles y sombras, predominan un claroscuro nostálgico con pasajes alegres. La vida y la muerte conviven, se divierten y detestan.

Guitarras al frente, historias y pulso rocanrolero es la mezcla explosiva que propone  La Ponderosa desde el sur de Buenos Airess para detonar en Capital Federal.

  La Ponderosa es una banda de rock del     sur del Gran Buenos Aires, precisamente     de la ciudad de Quilmes. Está integrada       por: Marcos Ferreirone (voz, coros y guitarra acústica), Federico Varela (guitarra, coros y voz), Fabián Ferián (guitarra), Francisco Fernández (bajo), Mariano Assad  (batería) y Gustavo Núñez (armónica). La Ponderosa tiene su propia impronta, sostenida en composiciones que pasean por distintos matices de un género tan amplio como es el rock and roll.

Reseña
Entre 2010 y 2011 la banda estuvo presentando su primer disco “Sigo, sigo, sigo” en: Niceto Club, The Roxy, La Reina, El Marquee, Asbury Club, Club Tucumán, entre otros.
Su corte de difusión fue “Calavera de la noche”, el cual es acompañado por su video clip, dirigido por  “Pasto Films”  en octubre de 2010. Realizado en estudio y exteriores con equipos de ultima generación.
Giraron por la provincia de Entre Ríos, Santa Fé, Córdoba, el interior de Buenos Aires y costa Atlántica.
Vendieron más de dos mil ejemplares de su primer material.
“Del Otro lado” fue grabado en Estudio del Abasto al Pasto (Mansión Monsterland) bajo la producción artística de Álvaro Villagra y Nelson Pombal.
