Banda de Turistas se convirtió en referentes locales de una nueva generación autogestionada con presencia en lo virtual. Son cinco amigos y aliados que sobresalieron de la escena en cuestión de meses. Oportunos en recibir 2 nominaciones a los Premios Grammy Latinos.
Consagrados como el grupo joven de Argentina con mayor proyección internacional de los últimos tiempos. Banda de Turistas nos presentan “YA”, su nuevo disco de estudio, el cual cuenta con nueve nuevos temas.
El álbum contó con la producción de Diego Tuñón y Diego Uma (Babasónicos). ”Ya” fue lanzado en formatos físico y digital el 16 de marzo.
El primero corte de difusión “Cada día” ya se encuentra rotando en las radios y además cuenta con nuevo vídeoclip, grabado en Buenos Aires con cámaras HD y 3D bajo las órdenes del artista visual Martín Borini (también conocido como Ailaviu).
Sobre el álbum, Luís Balcarce dice: “Ya” es una forma de pararnos ante esta época que nos toca vivir, tan acelerada y sobrecargada de información, que a veces parece no dejarnos nada y sin embargo, todo está a nuestro alcance para ser más libres. Lejos de divagar, “Ya” es un pedazo concreto de realidad, un compendio de melodías y letras que nos elevan y que perduraran, porque “Ya” también fue ayer y será mañana. Es otra parte de nosotros que queríamos compartir”.
Sobre la grabación Tomás Putruele dice “Empezamos componiendo y grabando demos durante una gira en México. Juntamos muchas canciones y nos pusimos a ensayarlas. En ese interín nos cruzamos con Diego Tuñon y Diego Uma de Babasónicos, que tenían ganas de producirnos y a nosotros nos gustó mucho la idea. De ahí se decidió grabar el álbum en el estudio nuevo que tienen en Buenos Aires y desde entonces todo fue alucinante y dimos un paso más como banda. Eso se ve traducido en música y nos gusta que así sea”.
